A new addition to my coin family, 1981 Proof set. This set doesn't has the box or certificate. But who cares? 

For me I just want the best condition of the coins only. In times to come, they will be on their way to NGC or PCGS.

Malaysia 1994 20 sen MS66

Just recently acquired this piece of coin, still affordable compared to the famous 1971 versions....

1985 Malaysia 50 sen Mutli Die Crack

This 1985 50 sen is a good example of a multi die crack. See if you can find the second, third and fourth die crack hairlines other than the 1985 die crack line.

1969 50 sen SE MS62

 

Yesterday Mavin auction 35 saw this coin hammered at SGD380, approximately RM1150 including buyer's premium. This transacted results is more reasonable compared to the past 2 transactions that were merely unrealistic transactions as the realised prices were far too different apart.

Probably only speculators who wish to increase their sales will resort to such idiotic measures. Are you one of them?

Nothing worth bragging about here since the highest score of MS67 still eludes me.....

Recent auction in Singapore saw this 1971 Malaysia 10 cents V2 auction of at about RM1000(Premium+GST included)

So, what do you think? Does the winner/buyer had gone berserk with this price?

Many claim that this coin is not worth the price...then my question to you all out there "Tell me which one is more deserving? Is it the 50 sen Milled Edge that created so many hoo-hah and returned to Malaysia with extra value???"

Malaysia 1971 10cents V2 MS64

Recent price hike in this 1971 10 cents V2 in auctions both locally and overseas has somehow caused numis fans around the country searching high and low for this piece. 

I consider myself very fortunate to be able to capture few pieces in my collection of Malaysia Rare/Scarce Coins series. More to come in short time.

1970 Malaysia Parliament Series 20 sen Coin NGC MS65

Probably and most likely not a coin to gloat about nor one should feel jealous of as there are about 12 pieces of such condition coin. Of course, if you are the lucky one, you would have the opportunity to possess the MS66, which at the moment, only 2 in existence.

1973 Parliament Series 50 sen....UNC perhaps?

Just another lucky day for me, perhaps not for the others. The Malay auntie selling the nasi campur in the canteen gave me this coin as balance when I had my late lunch there.

Can this coin be graded as UNC? I am no coin grader as many would think I am.

Malaysia Parlimen Series $1 Coin

I don't really have much Malaysia Parlimen series in collection. Here' a fine example of my  $1 coin . Used them all up during the school days for the kids, never even thought of keeping one for myself...so probably u can guess how old I am already???

Malaysia 1971 10 Sen

Of all Malaysian 10 sen coins ever issued, this 1971 10 sen is most probably well sought after by many coin collectors within the country. The price for these coins has somewhat sky-rocketed over the past 2 years or so.

Somehow though the mintage is very few as compared to other years of issue, quantities of this coin whether V1 or V2 as many call it is rather still visible in the market. Maybe some smart  collectors or dealers are stocking them in piles of hundred pieces waiting for the price to shoot up once again. 

JUPEM Silver Proof

Bought this silver proof coin from a friend of mine from down under, never knew that it will appreciate in such an astounding manner.

Malaysia 1 sen Error, Centre Off Strike Perhaps?

Don't really know much about the type of error shown by the 1 sen coins here .....Off centre strike error perhaps as I mentioned in the title? 

Maybe sifu Dickson can elaborate and elighten me more on this....

20 sen Error coin

I bought this coin quite some time ago. Is this considered a double strike? May be there are some great sifus out there can tell me more about it. 

You all should know by now I am just as dungu as many beginners out there....Never a smart alec in anyway...

2006 10 sen Die Crack

I consider myself to be one of those dungus in coins collection as I only started coins collection a short while ago. 

Maybe some sifus out there can enlighten me more on this type of die crack and how much is it worth...

Sorry, I am just too poor to pay any consultant fee...
