One of my best collections in Straits Settlement Coins series. Nothing special as compared to many advanced collectors out there. I am still hunting for the One Dollar silver coins that eluded me for ages.

Yesterday Mavin auction 35 saw this coin hammered at SGD380, approximately RM1150 including buyer's premium. This transacted results is more reasonable compared to the past 2 transactions that were merely unrealistic transactions as the realised prices were far too different apart.

Probably only speculators who wish to increase their sales will resort to such idiotic measures. Are you one of them?

Just another piece of 1961H MBB QE2 50 cents coin that I recently acquired. Still looking for the MS65, MS66 and MS67.

A piece of MBB QE2 50 cents coin that I got in my collection bought many years ago. This 1961H is not the rarest amongst all the years of issue. Maybe there are others which has much better grades out there.

1973 Parliament Series 50 sen....UNC perhaps?

Just another lucky day for me, perhaps not for the others. The Malay auntie selling the nasi campur in the canteen gave me this coin as balance when I had my late lunch there.

Can this coin be graded as UNC? I am no coin grader as many would think I am.
