HIghlights from StacksBower Auction today

This is the lates auction results from the StacksBower auction today. The hammered price indicated that the demand for high grade coins is still there.

1927 Straits Settlement King George V 10 cents MS65

新加入的成员。随着这个新加入的成员，1927年乔治5世的一角已经凑齐MS65-MS67。可以算是俺的一个小小成就。

接下来再继续。。。。

1927 Straits Settlement King George V 10 cents MS66

Another silver coin from the Straits Settlement era that was brought into my personal collection. Though I already have a MS67 piece, but this MS66 is a complementary copy so I can try to complete a set from MS63-MS67...

1927 Straits Settlment King George V 10 cents MS67

One of my best piece in Straits Settlement coins series. The only one I have at this grade and point so far. Hope to get more soon.

Malaysia 1971 10cents V2 MS66

Nothing worth bragging about here since the highest score of MS67 still eludes me.....

Malaysia 1971 10cents V2 MS65

Recent auction in Singapore saw this 1971 Malaysia 10 cents V2 auction of at about RM1000(Premium+GST included)

So, what do you think? Does the winner/buyer had gone berserk with this price?

Many claim that this coin is not worth the price...then my question to you all out there "Tell me which one is more deserving? Is it the 50 sen Milled Edge that created so many hoo-hah and returned to Malaysia with extra value???"

Malaysia 1971 10cents V2 MS64

Recent price hike in this 1971 10 cents V2 in auctions both locally and overseas has somehow caused numis fans around the country searching high and low for this piece.

I consider myself very fortunate to be able to capture few pieces in my collection of Malaysia Rare/Scarce Coins series. More to come in short time.

Just hold onto your seats....

1910B Straits Settlement King Edward VII 10c

Nothing much I can gloat about since this coin is available in tonnes out there with affordable price

My MBB QE2 20 cents Collection

These are my collections of MBB QE2 20 cents. Not a lot to start with. I wonder how many of us really has completed every years of issue and different varieties set. For me I am cocksure that I will not and don't intend to do so.

Malaysia 1971 10 Sen

Of all Malaysian 10 sen coins ever issued, this 1971 10 sen is most probably well sought after by many coin collectors within the country. The price for these coins has somewhat sky-rocketed over the past 2 years or so.

Somehow though the mintage is very few as compared to other years of issue, quantities of this coin whether V1 or V2 as many call it is rather still visible in the market. Maybe some smart  collectors or dealers are stocking them in piles of hundred pieces waiting for the price to shoot up once again.

2005 10 sen Error Coin

This has to be my lucky day...went to buy a cup of coffee in Aeon shopping mall, and the pretty young girl over the counter handed me the balance together with this error coin.

2006 10 sen Die Crack

I consider myself to be one of those dungus in coins collection as I only started coins collection a short while ago.

Maybe some sifus out there can enlighten me more on this type of die crack and how much is it worth...

Sorry, I am just too poor to pay any consultant fee...
